Adult training

 

Adult training takes place at Irvine Sports Club from 7pm to 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, meeting in the foyer from 6.45pm. Training is free for the first 4 weeks. To join the club the fees are £60 per year which can be made as a one off payment or taken by standing order at £5 per month.


There are a variety of different training sessions available throughout the year which include intervals, hills, short runs and long runs. These training sessions will usually take place on the paths and roads of Irvine, the beach park, Irvine moor or on the 400m track located behind the sports club.

Secondary school children

 

Secondary school aged children train at the club on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 7.45pm meeting on the 400m track from 6.55pm. Training is free for the first 4 weeks and just £1.00 per session thereafter.

Primary school children 

 

Primary school children aged 9 or above train on a Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm, with coaches John McGarry and Andy Rennie, meeting in the club foyer at 6.45pm. Training is free for the first 4 weeks and just £1.00 per session thereafter.
